SAS Who Dares Wins Winner – Jonathan Davis

Join us for our special edition podcast! Find out how a 24 year old digital marketer overcame mental anguish and physical exhaustion to WIN Channel 4’s SAS Who Dares Wins.

Jonathan Davis, 24, from Brighton, spent two weeks with ex-special forces soldiers as they put him and other recruits through a gruelling SAS selection process in the parched Moroccan Atlas Mountains.

In his own words:
“I managed not to crack when we were under extreme mental distress – we were kidnapped in the middle of the night by men with guns, blindfolded, thrown in a small mud hut, with nothing to eat for 20 hours, at 40 degrees heat with one sip of water an hour, all the time listening for hours to terrible recordings of crying and people in pain.

How To Outperform Yourself

“You are not good enough” is a common thought for most of us.
We all want to fit into society, yet it is this desire to fit in which causes us to constantly compare ourselves to others. As a result, we become more self-conscious and stick to our comfort zones – a dangerous place for those trying to live the inspired life.
Using sports psychology as a foundation, Pete describes how we should see ourselves as athletes and use the mantra of ‘CANI’ – Constant And Never-ending Improvement – to smash our expectations of ourselves and go further than ever before. Pete outlines the need for ACTIVATION ENERGY and how it is just getting started that is the key to radical transformation.

How to Develop Emotional Stamina

How good are you at dealing with your emotions? Do you often suffer from rage, jealousy, heartache, guilt, rejection or failure?

Dealing with emotional injury is a skillset that everyone can benefit from, yet the reality is that it only takes a few simple steps to change your perception and break free of the ‘victim’ mindset.

Conquering Stress

Stress is often perceived as being a normal part of modern day life. Many of us are chronic ‘ruminators’ – digesting a thought or scenario for an extended period of time, leading to a range of negative symptoms – both mentally and physically. In this episode, direct from our live broadcast series, Pete reminds us of our unlimited ability to change our responses to external stimuli, turning stress into one of the most powerful activation energies available.

BLOGS AND TALKS: Ideas & Strategies for Inspiration

The Authentic WHY of Leadership

Why, in fact, do you do anything? We spend the biggest proporition of our working lives thinking about what we do and how we do it (and, as a leader, also who will do it) and, as a result, we lose sight of Why we are doing it.
Why? Is a massively powerful question – and, when you know the answer, it gives you power and energy and drive you forwards. Simon Sinek’s book The Power of Why is well worth a read as he has laid this out really well. Being clear on the vision you are aiming for, the reason you do what you do, makes even the most mundane step worthwhile and – dare I say it – joyful.

Begin With The End In Mind

What’s The Number One Leadership Style In The World?

Whatever you may believe, there is no one-size-fits-all in being a great leader. Different leaders have different styles and what works for one may not work for someone else.

Why does anyone want to be a leader?
People led like this are typically stressed, oppressed and wait for instructions rather than acting on their own initiative. The talented will only stay as long as it takes them to find somewhere better to work. A commander tends to create a collection of commanders around him – everyone out for what they can get. Organisational goals get lost in the crowds of ego-driven personal ambitions.
